Editie 25 van het Canadese tijdschrift The Block is goed gevuld met model Ashley Smith. Deze uitgave komt pas over een krap half jaartje uit, maar deze editorial is al uitgelekt. Het kunstzinnige tijdschrift combineert music met mode en cultuur met mixtapes. Een van hun laatste interviews was met een van mijn favoriete en felbegeerde mode-iconen, Taylor Tomasi Hill. Voordat ik deze editorial op Fashion Gone Rogue vond had ik nog nooit van The Block gehoord. Helaas distribueren ze ook alleen maar in Canada, waardoor de kans dat ik dit fantastische stuk papier ooit in mijn handen houd tot een onmogelijke opgave is gedegradeerd...
The Block - issue 25 for March 2012 is filled with Ashley Smith. This arty magazine combines fashion with music and culture with mixtapes. They recently did an interview with one of my style icons, Taylor Tomasi Hill. I've never heard of this amazing magazine, partly because the distribution is limited to Canada. It's dispersion is commissioned by Opening Ceremony, exactly, the website that sells exclusive brands like Proenza Shouler and did collaborations with Alexander Wang and Chloe Sevigny.
